New Mexico Highlights

This series of photographs was captured during a trip to USA in December 2014.

The trip began in Albuquerque where we took the opportunity photograph the many murials that make the Nob Hill area so interesting. We then spent a few days travelling along the section of Route 66 between Albuquerque and Holbrook. Weather conditions varied quite a bit, which added to the experience. This was especially so when we visted the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park. From Holbrook we made our way to Bosque del Apache where we spent a few days photographing the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese. We also spent a few days at White Sands National Monument. Our last day was spent photographing the Old Town area of Albuquerque. The trip was organised by my good friend Roger Reynolds at Photoventures (photoventures.net)
