Yellowstone & Grand Teton In Winter

In late January through early February 2006 I was privileged to participate in a photographic trip to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks in the USA.

The first few days of the trip were spent in and around Jackson Hole, which provided quick and easy access to the Grand Teton National Park. During the Yellowstone leg of the trip we visited locations such as: The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley, Norris, Lower, Midway and Upper Geyser Basins as well as many other fantastic locations such as Blacks Sands Basin, The Firehole River Drive, Biscuit Basin, The Madison River Valley, Mammoth Hot Spring Terrace, along with many Geysers in the area around Old Faithful. The one thing that makes Yellowstone in winter is a spectacular location with its sub zero temperature.
