In late November and early December 2003 I was privileged to participate in a photographic expedition to New Mexico organised by Roger Reynolds and Peter Morse of Photoventures. The trip included periods at White sands National Monument and Bosque del Apache. However, before making our way to thse locations we spent a few days visting other areas (i.e. Carlsbad Caverns, Artisia, Roswell, etc). The Carlsbad National Caverns include fantastic rock formations on the walls, ceilings and floors. But to see the attractions you have to travel the equivalent of 70 stories below the earth's surface. The following series of images are just a small sample of the many I managed to capture. I enjoyed this trip so much that I revisted White Sands and Bosque del Apache again in 2010 and again in 2014.
