Lightroom Classic & Lightroom Desktop | August 2021

The latest updates Lightroom Classic (10.4), Lightroom Desktop (4,4) and Camera Raw (13.4) were released to customers today (16 August). These updates include new camera and lens support, and bug fixes. There are also two minor feature enhancements to Lightroom Classic.

Duplicate Collection Set

While only a minor enhancement, it’s now possible to duplicate a collection set. The entire contents of collection set, which includes Smart Collections, will be duplicated including all the collections/collection sets inside the selected collection set.

Tethered Capture

Tethered Capture with Live View support has been added for the Nikon D750 and D610.

Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic & Desktop | August 2020


The latest updates to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic and the Lightroom Desktop were released to customers today (17 August). These updates are primarily to provide new camera and lens support plus bug fixes. More details are provided below.

In this release:

  • Support for turning off embedded lens profiles in select new cameras (Camera Raw 11.4, Lightroom Classic 9.4 and Lightroom desktop 3.4 ). This is feature is only supported by specific new cameras when used with lenses that writes lens correction information to the images during capture. When an image with a supported camera and lens is opened in develop module, ‘Camera Settings’ will be shown as Lens Profile Name. Note that this feature is not available to cameras supported by Lightroom or Camera Raw prior to this release.

Lightroom Classic 9.4 – Lens Profile Support

  • ‘Done’ button added to Import window (Lightroom Classic 9.4). The ‘Done’ button will enable you to save any import settings you may have configured when exiting the Import window without actually initiating the import process.

Adobe Lightroom Classic 9.1 | December 2019

Lightroom Classic 9.1 was released on 10 December. This update delivers some minor performance improvements, bug fixes and new   lens / camera support.

 

Main bugs fixed include:

  • On Catalina, memory cards selected in the 4202361 Devices section show as “No photos found”.
  • On macOS Catalina additional hidden volumes 4202362 show up in Source panel.
  • Custom export settings that 3rd party export 4202495 modules set are ignored.
  • On macOS Catalina LR crashes on scrolling through import grid, disconnecting iPhone and click on cancel button.
  • 9.0 Catalog upgrade fails.
